Thank you to all of our families that were able to attend our Summer Reading Day at Brown Elementary last week. 

For those students that were unable to attend the Summer Reading Day we would like to extend our Summer Reading Challenge to them: 

We are challenging each student from now until the start of school to read for 20 minutes a day and also respond to their reading each day in a writing journal. 

If you are up for the challenge and want to be included in a chance to win some wonderful prizes, such as:

*A brand new bike, helmet, and bike lock (2 bikes will be given away)

*A gift card basket containing the following coupons:  Free Treat at Dairy Queen, Free Bowling Game, Free Roller Skating Pass,  FREE pizza from Popparoni’s Pizza, Free Dessert from McDonald’s (3 baskets will be given away).

*A Certificate to the Brunswick Doverama Bowling Alley which entitles the entire family (up to 6 people) to have 2 free hours of bowling, Free Shoe Rental, a Free Pitcher of Coca Cola.

 Every student that brings back their completed Reading Log and Writing Journal will be given a prize. 

So, hurry on in and stop by our main office THIS WEEK only between the hours of 8:00a.m.-12:00 and 1:00p.m.- 4:00p.m. Monday, July 14th- Friday, July 18th to pick up your Reading Log and Writing Journal!

intellectually.  We believe in developing the whole child, preparing
